“ Stopped in for local bbq, and wow, this place does not disappoint. We had the best server in Sarasota, his name was Gavin. Super good guy. Ordered brisket and ribs, slaw, and beans. The food came out fast, hot, and very good. If you're in the area and need good bbq, do yourself a favor and stop in here. ”

The restaurant was decorated simply in a theme that matched what you would expect for a Southern BBQ restaurant. The dining area and restrooms were clean. The pulled pork was amazing! Went for lunch and were blown away with the awesome staff (we saw only teenagers) who had the best manners and were spectacular in providing an amazing experience. We had the pleasure of having Evan as server, and another young man Evan helped us out as well and deserve major kudos! Great job!! Pulled pork Mac & cheese was mouthwatering! “ Just had my favorite again, the brisket Pit entree. You can ask for lean or moist, I always get lean, and boy it does not disappoint. A pile of lean sliced smoky brisket that makes a great sandwich for leftovers. The best anywhere. My husband got the Hungry Heifer for the first time, and he raved. Their chicken fried steak is also delicious. Our fave sides are the cucumber salad and beans. The staff works hard and is always friendly. Already planning our return. ”
